Today Kevin and I sat down (sort of by accident) and watched a few home movies. One of Cayden and Chip 4 days before Carson was born. The other one was of when Carson was born. This was October 2007. I was surprised at how it affected me. First I didn't realize how little they were just 2 years ago. When I saw their little faces and heard their tiny voices talking I was shocked at how young they looked. They were just babies, yet at the time I thought they were big. Then to see them so excited to have a new brother, holding and kissing him at the hospital. It made me melt. Actually it made me cry. Tears poured down my face. I wanted to be right back there holding my new baby and loving my other two babies. How quickly 2 years just flew by. And I can never have it back again. I do however have today. I'm sure years down the road I will look at movies of them now and think how little they look. So today I'm going to enjoy these moments. The hugs and kisses, the laughter and even the tough days, because I know all too soon they will grow up and I won't get this time back.

Happy New Year Friends!

We are having a great 2010 so far. It's been nice to spend time with family and friends. I am soooo ready for the boys to be back in school. Truth be told I think they are getting a little bored at home too. Things are crazy with 3 boys home all day. I did enjoy the time we had as a family. The snow at Christmas was beautiful and the kids loved playing in it. I look forward to a great year!!!

Today Chip came to me and said "mommy, you know how the presents are my favorite part of Christmas?" and I said "yes". He said "well not anymore. My real favorite part is sharing and loving my family."
I was soooooo proud of him. He is such a sweet boy. My favorite part of Christmas is being with family too. I love my family and wish we were together more often. Here are some pictures from my family Christmas get together. We had wonderful time together. I love these people!!!!

Christmas is Coming

It happens so quickly every year! The days and weeks fly by and before you know it Christmas is here. I wish I could slow it down. We have finished almost all of our shopping and wrapping. Actually my hubby does all the shopping and wrapping so I'm quite blessed. We went to his company Christmas Party last night and it was wonderful. Good food, wine and friends. The house is decorated and soon Santa will be here. I'm so excited to watch Carson this year on Christmas morning. He understands what is going on this year and I think he will have so much fun! All my boys are getting big, so I'm trying to enjoy all the sweet moments of the holidays before they are gone.

Here are a few pictures of the snow, the boys being silly by the tree and one of Kevin and I before his party. Enjoy!

To All the Mommies

I snagged this from someone elses blog and wanted to share it with you....

You’re up all night with a screaming baby

You run all day at the speed of life

And every day you feel a little bit less

like the beautiful woman you are

So you fall into bed when you run out of hours

and you wonder if anything worth doing got done

Well maybe you just don’t know

or maybe you’ve forgotten

That you, you are changing the world

one little heartbeat at a time

Making history with every touch and every smile

Oh you, you may not see it now

but I believe that time will tell

how you, you are changing the world

one little heartbeat at a time

With every, “I know you can do it”and every tear that you kiss away

So many little things that seem to go unnoticed

they’re just like the drops of rainover time, they become a river

And you, you are changing the world

one little heartbeat at a time

Making history with every touch and every smile

Oh you, you may not see it now

but I believe that time will tell

how you, you are changing the world

one little heartbeat at a time

You’re beautiful, so beautiful

how you’re changing the world,

yeah you’re changing the world

You, you are changing the world

one little heartbeat at a time
