HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Woohoo! It's Halloween, my favorite holiday! I just love it. I think it's so fun when you are a kid to get dressed up and go trick or treating, but the older you get you tend to outgrow it. Then once I had my own children all the spirit and fun came back into the holiday for me. It's so fun to see their little faces when they get all that candy. I love to see them dressed up too. Let's see this year we will have Darth Vader, a Skeleton and Elmo. Also, 4 years ago today I was proposed to. Kevin did the cutest thing. He had bought some of those little plastic pumpkins and filled each one with my favorite candy except for the last one which had a ring it in. When I pulled out the ring and turned around he was on one knee asking me to marry him. It was the sweetest! It's one of my favorite Halloween memories. Here are some pictures of the boys last year at Halloween.....

P.S. Sorry Batman is upside down. I'm in a hurry this morning and have no time to fix it.

Good Morning! So this week has been crazy and it's just Tuesday. The baby is sick but the doctor says it's just a virus so no antibiotics needed. Just have to stick it out with Motrin and Tylenol. It's not going to be a fun day. So this weekend I went back to my roots! No, not Carrollton, I'm talking hair! So tell me what ya think(only if you have something nice to say). I'll put a before and after. Before:

Ok, Ok, so I'm not a weekend blogger. For those of you who checked my blog this weekend and were so disappointed to find nothing new, I'm sorry. I will not be blogging on weekends because I just don't have the time. My weekends are so full of family stuff I don't have a lot of free moments. So here are a few pictures from our weekend.

Oh, and here's Chip hanging with the girl he loves the best (besides me of course)...

And baby Carson with his Bobbie

After School Fun!

So after we get home from school and do homework I always tell Cayden to take the dog out and play with him. Chip always follows (without shoes) and sits at the table telling his big brother to "play with the dog while I watch". Boy, that is a good description of my husband and I. Me sitting and telling my husband what needs to be done. Ok, I'm not that bad, I do alot around here but when it comes to ANYTHING outdoors I'd rather supervise. Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Oh and little Carson trys to make his way out the door to see what the boys are up too.

My Crew

I guess I should introduce my crew to those who may read this and don't know my family. I'm new to blogging so bear with me through this experience. I really just wanted a place to show off the wonderful boys in my life and talk about my experiences as a mother and wife. I hope you enjoy my family as much as I do.
To start off my family is the man who holds it ALL together..........Kevin! I love him probably more than he is aware of. I don't say it near enough but he is my rock, my best friend and the love of my life. He is a great dad and is always trying to make us happy. We love ya honey!!

Second in line is Cayden! He is my 7 year old stepson. Cayden fills our home with a spirit of joy! He is always smiling and happy. He loves to make people laugh, even if that means making fun of himself. He is a GREAT big brother and an awesome baseball player! He is the athlete in our family (so far...the other boys are still little) and I love to watch him play. I'm blessed to have him as a son.
Next up is Chip. He is my 5 year old. He was my first baby and until we met Kevin and Cayden it was just the two of us. He is an old soul. Sometimes an old cranky soul. Just kidding. Chip is kind and loving. He tells me all the time how beautiful I am and how much he loves me. He likes animals and video games. I can't wait to see what kind of man he becomes one day.....

The smallest member of our family would be Carson. He just turned one. He is my last baby and the sweetest little boy! He is a lover and a fighter. He already has a strong personality. He makes me smile every morning when I go in to get him up. I love to kiss his sleepy little face and cuddle with him for a few brief seconds before he demands to be put down so he can start exploring his world. He is a great baby!
Oh, I can't forget Grif. He is definitely a member of my family.
Then there is me.......

So now you have met all of us! I hope you like reading my blog as much as I like writing it.

Here are a few more pictures............ENJOY!

Pumpkin Patch

We had so much fun at the Pumpkin Patch this year!

YEEHAW!!

My Baby is One!

How quickly the time passes.....I remember a year ago on Oct. 17th when Carson was born. I thought the day would never get here. Pregnancy is the slowest process and seems like it will never end. Then one day it does. You have your sweet little baby in your arms and the next thing you know he is turning one. It has been a fun year staying home with my little guy. He has the sweetest personality and makes me laugh all the time. He loves to hit you in the face then give you a kiss. He loves to sit in the middle of the floor and scream at the top of his lungs just to see if you look. He loves to to throw fits in the best places, like grocery stores and libraries. He likes to throw his food across the kitchen and mash bananas and yogurt in his hair. Boy, he sure is fun.........I can hardly wait for the terrible two's.

In all honesty, all my children are blessings. Everyday the grow a little older and I everyday I wish they would stay little.
