Boys

I know I have said it before but boys are the best!!! I am very much a girly girl and have always wanted to have a daughter. In fact I never imagined having a boy, especially 3 of them! The older I get the more I realize that this is probably it for my family. We don't plan on having anymore children, so that leaves me with a house of boys! 10 years ago that thought would have frightened me. Today, I realize what a blessing it is to have boys. What an honor it is to be able to raise them and teach them how to be gentleman. For all the dirt, mess, loudness, injuries, sweat, fights and stinky socks you get a lot of love and laughter. Boys really are the best!

Summertime!

I love Summer!! I love that I don't have to make school lunches every day, get up early, wake the kids up early, help with homework or worry about my kids grades. I love watching my boys play baseball, swimming, and their little tan lines and white tushes. I love flip flops, tank tops and sunglasses. Summer's were great when I was a kid, but they are even better with 3 boys!! It's just getting started.........

Lucky

This face takes my emotions to a place I never thought they could go. I never knew how much I could love until I had this little boy. He was the first to make me a mother. He is a complex and sensitive child with a kind heart. He loves his mommy and is one of the 3 best things to ever happen to me. I am lucky to be his mom.



This gift was brought into my life in a completely different way. He was the second one to make me a mom. I never knew how much joy one little child could bring to you. He makes me laugh all the time. He is funny, spirited and creative. He lives to please and make you proud of him. I am lucky to be his mom.



And this one.............this one is my baby. The third one to make me a mom. He has the personality of a star and is the one who keeps me on my toes. Words cannot describe the millions of things he does everyday to fill my heart with happiness. I am lucky to be his mom.

Everyday

I get to spend everyday, all day with this little boy. From the moment my feet hit the floor, until his head hits the pillow we are together.........................how lucky am I?

Easter

Today was a beautiful Easter Sunday. The weather was perfect for an egg hunt and spending time outside with the kids. Cayden was with his mom this Easter and we missed him a lot. Even after being married for 5 years I am still not used to not having him on some holidays. I know we have to share him but he is always missed.
We all had a great Easter and loved spending time with family. Here are a few pictures from the day.

A Great Day!

We had the best day today. My father-in-law has retired and we had a family party to celebrate! We decided to spend the afternoon at the park. Good food, family, and fun! We played games and watched the kids play on the playground. The weather was perfect and it was a time to reflect on how blessed we are.
