Today has been EXHAUSTING! We got up, I made the kids breakfast. Then I had to make Cayden's lunch, and get his backpack together. Then I got all 3 kids dressed. Let the dogs out, fed them then made sure they went out again. I threw on some workout out clothes, packed the diaper bag, grabbed my coffee and breakfast and ran out the door. I got all the kids in the car and we dropped Cayden off at school.
Then I headed to the gym. It took me 40 min to get to my gym due to traffic (aren't one of the benefits of staying home that you don't have to drive in rush hour anymore?????). Got to the gym and had a good workout even though I had to stop my workout twice to change poopy diapers(mental note: cut back on Carson's fiber on gym days).
Left the gym, drove home. Made lunch, fed the kids, did the dishes and cleaned the highchair (we had spaghetti for lunch so you can imagine the amount of clean up) Attempted to put Carson down for a nap. I say attempted because he decided he wanted to skip nap today (oh joy!). After he protested for quite awhile and I prayed to the good Lord above that he would sleep(oh, by the way God does not answer the "please let them sleep prayer". I'm not sure why, but he will not grant that prayer request)I gave up and got him up.
I played with Carson and tried to keep him happy even though he was cranky due to lack of sleep.
Let the dogs out again. Played with the dogs for awhile until Griff ran over Carson, knocking him down and making him pass out.
Put Chip and Carson in the car and went to get Cayden. Got Cayden, went to vacuum out my car(it was so dirty I couldn't see the floor mat on Carson's side due to the crumbs). Once I saw the floor mat I remembered that I still hadn't cleaned up the sticky Slurpee residue from last weekend. Went home and cleaned that.
Kids played(well actually they mostly fought and yelled at each other), I tried to keep Carson happy(he was still sleep deprived). Feed Carson, gave him a bath and put him to bed(ALLELUIA!!)
Cooked dinner, fed the other two kiddos and myself. Cleaned the kitchen. Gave both dogs a bath(I hate stinky dogs) and sat down to write this.

Sometimes I ask myself why I choose to do this everyday? I ask myself is it really worth it? Does anyone really notice how hard staying home with your kids is? Then I realize that it doesn't matter if anyone knows how hard I work, it doesn't matter if I'm so tired at the end of the day I can hardly move. All that matters is that I'm a mom to three amazing little boys. All things worth having require work. They are worth it...............

Happy Friday!

I LOVE Friday's! It's the last day of the week I have to work out(I refuse to work out on weekends), I know I get the next two days with my kids to have fun and my husband is home which is so nice! It's so much better when I have him home to help me with the kids. Saturday's are usually filled with sports. Right now Cayden is playing basketball. I LOVE to watch him play. He is so into it! It's one of my favorite sports he plays. Here are a few pictures from last week.........

Happy Inauguration Day!

Today Chip celebrated the Inauguration with his Grandmother. They learned about the new President, watched the swearing in, and even made a cake.

Toddler Time

Ok, this is for all the mom's who have had or currently have a toddler. Why does it happen? When does it happen? What change happens that causes your sweet little bundle of joy to turn into a fit throwing out of control toddler? Don't get me wrong I love my baby, but something happens after they turn one....... and it never ends.
This was my morning captured on film. It started off great. We were playing and all was good.

Then it happened....without warning......THE FIT!

Don't worry as all mother's know it ends just as quickly as it starts.

It's going to be a fun day with my little toddler............

I love my Family!

My sister-in-law sent this picture to me from Christmas. Our whole family went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Yes, a family with 6 children decided to wait 45min. for a table and then attempt a sit down dinner. You'd think my sweet little niece Emma pulling the fire alarm would have gotten us a table sooner, but nope we waited FOREVER.
Let's just say once we were seated my end of the table(with my 3 boys) was a little wild. When we left I had mashed potatoes all over my shirt and a little bit in my hair. But, regardless of all of this it was fun. I love spending time with my family, and getting the kids together.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. With 3 kids and Christmas it was just to hectic! So I'll try to catch everyone up on how our holiday's went. Christmas was good. Carson was more aware this year of what was going on so that made it more fun. We missed having Cayden on Christmas morning, but Santa visted him in Amarillo this year, and when he got back we had fun watching him open his presents.

New Years was fun. We went to our friends Zack and Heather's house. We had good food, good drinks and a good time.

After New Years we spent most of our days shopping. We got new bedroom furniture and tried to spruce up the house with some odds and ends.

Then we went to Canton and decided to add to our family! No, we didn't buy a baby. We got a new puppy. Chip has been really wanting a pet for himself. He has been begging us for a little dog. Well, I've been begging for small dog too. So...here is our new baby........Max!

He is 6 weeks old and tiny. Chip named him and he seems to be a good little puppy so far. All the boys LOVE him, especially Carson. They fight over who gets to hold him. Griff likes him too. He wants to play with him but he is too little right now.

We have had a busy but fun holiday. Today it's back to the same old stuff. Check back for more pictures and updates as January goes along.

I'm Back! It's been a while since I've had time to blog. I had a little surgery and am now up and about feeling good. I was out of commission for 2 weeks! It was hard but I had some good help. My mom was great and Kevin handled it all like a pro. I didn't have to worry about anything.
So it's back to being the stay at home mom. I job I love, but I sure enjoyed the break.

Thanksgiving was awesome. We had about 30 people at our house and it was so fun. Everybody brought something and the food was amazing. Here are some pictures from the day.

And a few more......

I love having family around and always miss them when they are gone.
